Assistant Vice President - Lung Transplant

Job Overview:

Newark Beth Israel is looking for a new Assistant Vice President to oversee its Lung Transplant department.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Business or healthcare degree, Bachelor s required
• 5 years progressive management experience in the healthcare environment.

Preferred:

• MBA or MPH preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Days to work,
• Full-Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

• Manages the daily operations of the Lung transplant and Advanced Lung Disease program, Division of Pulmonary and insures patient services are available as needed by collaborating with departments throughout the hospital.
• Works with clinical leadership to provide top quality patient care throughout the continuum.
• Works closely with billing staff to ensure all expected revenue is collected and billing functions are optimized to minimize time of visit to time of payment.
• Works with leadership throughout the SBHCS facilities to promote and develop advanced program heart and lung programs and satellite offices.
• Ensures programs are compliant with JCAHO, CMS, UNOS regulations
