The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Coordinator has the responsibility of all clinical areas which include daily assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the delivery of quality patient care

Qualifications: 

• Education BSN required, MSN preferred
• Experience Oncology background Ambulatory Care background preferred not required 3 years experience in a supervisory role,
• Management Leadership skills to mentor staff and facilitate daily operations of the department,
• Licenses Certifications Valid New Jersey RN license BLS certification ONS OCN certification

Scheduling Requirements: 

• Full Time
• Day Shift
• 40 hours per week 

Essential Functions:

• Role model and clinical resource to staff, providing guidance and professional development,
• Facilitates interdepartmental coordination,
• identifying opportunities for growth and change to ensure that the quality of patient care and services are maintained ,
• Provide training and orientation for all new employees,
• Develop and implement policies and procedures,
• Participate in departmental quality initiatives and projects,
• Actively participates in shared governance and nursing performance initiatives,
• Function as a liaison for the Cancer Center and physician groups,
