Role Description
The Ambulatory Testing Support Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the Ambulatory Testing Coordinator in the development and execution of test scripts and testing results documentation for ambulatory applications. The Ambulatory Testing Support Analyst participates in the testing of the applications and supports all phases of the testing lifecycle.

Qualifications
Education
Preferred: Bachelor s degree
Minimum: Associate s degree or three (3) or more years of relevant work experience providing advanced application support
Work Experience:
Preferred: Three (3) years of relevant experience in a health care setting
Preferred: Knowledge of ambulatory departments workflows and processes
Minimum: One (1) year of relevant experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum: Obtaining applicable certification will be an expectation of the role
Applicant is expected to maintain certification as current by completing New Version Training (NVT), as applicable

Responsibilities

The Ambulatory Testing Support Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the Ambulatory Testing Coordinator in the development and execution of test scripts and testing results documentation for ambulatory applications. In addition to the duties discussed in the Role Description, the Ambulatory Testing Support Analyst is responsible for the following:

1) Testing Support
Participating in all phases of the testing lifecycle; unit, system, integrated, regression, user acceptance, and performance/stress testing
Assisting in the development of test scripts
Developing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated test cases and scripts in conjunction with project team members and other SMEs including all conditions that must be tested to validate changes made and to confirm that unchanged processes are not impacted
Executing manual and/or automated test scripts, executing functionality of system and its interfaces with other systems
Assisting Ambulatory Testing Coordinator with hardware setup
Assisting Ambulatory Testing Coordinator with device and document routing testing
Updating ambulatory application test plans to reflect project timelines, change orders, and ambulatory application team requirements
Participating in the evaluation, selection, implementation and use of automated testing tools
Testing and monitoring software, hardware, and peripheral devices to evaluate use, effectiveness and adequacy of product for end users
Creating repeatable testing procedures and scripts
Developing test cases, test scripts, and expected results from available documentation (e.g., business requirements, functional appropriate workflows and technical design specifications)


2) Project Management Support
Participating in team evaluations and development of action plans after each phase of testing
Escalating issues to Testing Coordinator and/or other teams, as appropriate
Recording and tracking defects and proposing alternative solutions
Reviewing business requirements, functional and technical specifications for testability and consistency, and provide feedback
Coordinating overall testing with other Testing Analysts and other teams, as appropriate
Coordinating retesting of proposed solutions to issues
