Job Summary:

This position will augment onsite biomed staff on a PER DIEM basis to help manage spikes in local workload. He/she will conduct urgent corrective maintenance performed during the off hours and will reduce the turnaround times and return critical medical equipment to the user department for clinical use. The Per Diem Biomedical Technologist Senior will peform safety inspections, preventive maintenance inspections and/or repairs as requested.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Trade School and/or equivalent work/military experience in electronics, Electrical/Biomedical engineering or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands on experience in Biomedical Engineering field with related hospital experience as a Biomedical Technologist required.
  • CBET certification and/or OEM certification on Ventilators, Defibrilator, Telemetry and other critical care equipment preferred
  • Attention to detail and communication and follow up as required with customers
