The Residency Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily administration of the Emergency Department Residency Program within the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education guidelines and with the guidance of the Program Director. Responsible for functioning as a liaison with the teaching program, as well as other internal and external departments and/or institutions. Maintains educational and other related budgets and contracts for the department. Ensures departmental compliance with applicable regulations and hospital policies and procedures; including those related to the documentation, health, discipline, and reimbursement. Plans, develops, and coordinates resident recruitment. Develops and implements ideas and programs to improve both the Residency Program and the functioning of the Department.
Bachelor s degree required. Three (3) years of office management experience, or equivalent experience in Administration and/or office management in an academic healthcare setting.
