Responsibilities:
The PrEP Counselor s primary responsibility is to assist high risk, HIV negative LGBTQ+ individuals. The PrEP Counselor will address the lack of education and increase access to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) as a prevention tool to the communities most at risk. The PrEP Counselor will connect with existing in patients already on PrEP to ensure continuity. The PrEP Counselor collaborates with the PROUD Center Navigator/Coordinator, Practice Manager and other staff to provide an inclusive, safe environment for all patients and their families.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. The position is grant funded and will be primarily remote with weekly in person check in, or as agreed upon.
