The Director of Medical Affairs/Medical Staff Office will provide overall coordination of the CMC Medical Education Program. Ensure compliance with the CME Mission Statement and the Essentials of the CME as required by the Medical Society of New Jersey and the ACCME to maintain accreditation status. Provide a liaison function to the CMC Medical Staff for Medical Staff Department/Committee meetings, communication with other ancillary or Medical Staff Departments and facilitates the New Physician Orientation Program. Provides assistance as required to CMO in assuring Medical Staff compliance with all Joint Commission requirements, completion of Medical Records and necessary educational requirements, such as BLS/ACLS, Cultural Competency and Code of Conduct training.

Requirements: AAS required. Minimum of five (5) years administrative and clerical experience and knowledge. Proven management skills. Experience and ability to determine and articulate goals and behavioral objects. Knowledge of hospital operations, patient care, and ancillary services. Excellent rapport with the Medical Staff members. Broad based clinical knowledge and MicroSoft Office experience required. Knowledge of VERGE software preferred.
