Job Overview:

Responsible to oversee daily operations of the Involuntary Outpatient Commitment (IOC) program. Candidate will provide administrative management, oversight, training, and support/supervision to staff members providing services to consumers. Candidate will coordinate referrals, intakes, services, and discharges based on DMHAS guidelines. Candidate will work with IOC Program assigned Psychiatrist for psychiatric evaluations and reviews for court hearings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master s Degree in mental health field
  • Candidates must have a valid NJ Drivers License

Preferred:

  • Bilingual Spanish or ASL preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ licensure as an LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC etc.

Essential Functions:

  • Candidate will work closely with community, county, and state inpatient facilities as well as Hudson County Court System
  • Directs all aspects of the program and is responsible for: planning, continued program development, Quality Assurance, performance improvement, utilization review, customer satisfaction, and other projects assigned
  • Involuntary Outpatient Commitment, IOC, programs coordinate community based mental health services for individuals, who are court ordered into mental health treatment
  • IOC programs enroll individuals who have been assessed by mental health professionals and adjudicated by a court as meeting the legal standard for involuntary outpatient treatment
  • Candidates shall be innovative and creative and willing to expand 'outside the box' to develop successful therapeutic interventions for the individuals
  • Candidates should have strong organizational and scheduling skills, proficient with clinical documentation, strong work ethic, able to adapt to scenario changes, and be a self-motivator as well as being able to motivate others to ensure a positive work environment and positive staff morale
  • Candidates should embrace team work and a safety first attitude.

Pay Range:

$ 78,000.00 minimum to $ 83,000.00 maximum Annual Salary
