Job Overview:

In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Completion or Graduate from an accredited Technical program

Preferred:

N/A

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

• Current BLS required (American Heart Association)
• Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

• Shift working: Days
• 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
• FT

Essential Functions:

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure the patient s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensures patients' physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
