Summary of Job Function
The employee is a registered professional nurse who under the direction of the Nursing Director coordinates available resources to eficiently and effectively provide professional nursing care of a quality consistent with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Standards of Care to the patients assigned to his her unit The Head Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to make decisions regarding the provision of age appropriate care for the units patient population
