As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in accurate and timely laboratory testing that supports the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions. You will operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory instrumentation, analyze and verify test results, adhere to quality assurance and regulatory standards, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

A typical day for a Medical Technologist may include:

• Performs and monitors complex diagnostic laboratory testing to support clinical decision-making and ensures compliance with regulatory standards,
• Analyze, interpret, verify, and report accurate laboratory test results in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Interprets and validates test results prior to release,
• Performs advanced instrument calibration and maintenance procedures,
• Investigates abnormal or inconsistent test results and determines root cause,
• Develops and monitors quality control and quality assurance processes,
• Reviews and updates standard operating procedures,
• Trains and mentors junior laboratory staff and students,
• Maintains inventory and appropriate storage conditions,
• Handles and disposes reagents, chemical, and medical waste according to institutional and regulatory safety standards,

To be considered for this Medical Technologist opportunity, you must:

• Have a Bachelor s degree in medical laboratory science, biology, or a related field,
• Certified by ASCP or AMT as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) preferred,
• Preferred : 1-3 years of experience performing moderate to high complexity laboratory testing,
