Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable person to join our Culinary Team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food and overall cooking for room service dining,

Have knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills,

Line cooking experience is preferred and serve-safe is a plus.

Must be familiar with slicer and commercial cooking equipment,

Energetic, reliable and able to keep up in a high-volume kitchen,

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 years experience in a similar food service establishment

Preferred:

Experience in hospitality, a hospital or healthcare setting

Scheduling Requirements:

This is a full-time position with a shift from 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

The candidate must be available to work on weekdays and weekends as well as holidays,

Essential Functions:

Accurately cleans and prepares food according to recipes.

Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Maintain a clean and tidy work station

Handle all questions and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy

Assist in other areas as needed based on staffing and patient flow,

Operate commercial cleaning equipment
