The Opportunity

The Executive Sourcer will partner with Executive Recruiters, senior business leaders, and key stakeholders to identify and engage exceptional leadership talent for critical roles across RWJBarnabas Health. This individual will develop proactive executive talent pipelines using targeted research, market intelligence, professional networks, and innovative sourcing strategies.

Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition Strategy, Solutions and Executive Recruitment, the ideal candidate will bring strong sourcing expertise, executive presence, sound discretion, and a commitment to delivering a polished, high-touch candidate experience.

As an Executive Sourcer, a typical day might include:

• Developing targeted sourcing strategies and executive talent pipelines for current and future leadership needs.
• Partnering with Executive Recruiters and senior leaders to understand role requirements, leadership competencies, and organizational priorities.
• Identifying and engaging passive executive talent through direct outreach, referrals, professional networks, market research, and sourcing platforms.
• Building relationships with industry associations, professional networks, and referral sources to strengthen executive talent communities.
• Conducting structured candidate screens to assess experience, leadership capabilities, communication skills, and overall alignment with opportunities.
• Using market and competitive intelligence to inform sourcing strategies and provide insights throughout the search.
• Preparing polished candidate profiles, search updates, and other executive-ready recruitment materials.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential information within ATS, CRM, and executive recruitment platforms.
• Managing multiple searches and priorities independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Supporting virtual and on-site executive interviews and ensuring a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience.
• Participating in Talent Acquisition initiatives focused on executive recruitment, sourcing effectiveness, candidate experience, and process improvement.

To be considered for this role:

Candidates must have current experience in Talent Acquisition, recruiting, or sourcing, with 3–5 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Executive recruiting or sourcing experience is highly desirable, particularly in a fast-paced corporate or agency environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct sourcing, talent research, pipeline development, targeted outreach, and recruiting technologies such as ATS and CRM platforms. Success in this role also requires strong communication, organization, discretion, judgment, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities, and effectively partner with senior-level stakeholders. Occasional travel to RWJBarnabas Health locations is required.
