Job Overview:

Administers qualitative diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to communication/hearing disorders for inpatients and outpatients of all ages

Qualifications:

Required:

  • New Jersey state licensure in audiology required
  • Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required

Preferred:

  • Experience with vestibular testing and/or cochlear implant assessment/mapping/activation strongly preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Administers qualitative diagnostic, habilitative, and rehabilitative services related to communication/hearing disorders for inpatients and outpatients of all ages
  • Provides counseling to patients and/or their families with regard to the diagnostic findings, the therapeutic program or further referral
  • Assists in updating diagnostic and/or therapeutic materials and supplies
  • Attends in-service/lectures on subjects related to hearing and communication
