Case Cart Coordinator - Operating Room (CRCST or CST) Required - (Full Time Days)

Job Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the O.R. Logistics Manager, promotes and assures the efficient functioning of the Operating Room by pulling required soft goods, supplies, and instruments in accordance with the surgeon preference cards to place onto the case carts. Reviews and updates preference cards for accuracy and timeliness of surgical cases. Ensures all instruments and supplies are in the appropriate case cart. Acts as a liaison between the Sterile Processing Department and the Operating Room for the selection of the correct instruments pertaining to each case cart.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma required.
• One to two years of Operating Room experience required.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification required.
• Operating Room case knowledge required (i.e. Orthopedics, Podiatry, Thoracic, Vascular, Plastics, Breast, General Surgery, and Urology)

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day position
• FT

Essential Functions:

• Works collaboratively with the Sterile Processing Department to retrieve missing items for surgical cases.

• Returns any unused equipment to the Sterile Processing Department.

• Responsible for storage and restocking of surgical supplies in the Operating Rooms.
