Job Overview:

Performs all clerical functions related to the Department of Laboratory Services in accordance with established policies and procedures,

Provides secretarial support to the Medical and Administrative Directors, Pathologists and Laboratory Administrative team,

Performs functions related to the registration, processing, reporting and billing of anatomic pathology specimens,

Reports to the Administrative Director and the Histology Supervisor,

Qualifications:
Required:

• High school diploma,
• Working knowledge of medical terminology,
• Keyboarding 60 wpm,
• Medical transcription skills using the Nuance Emon system,
• Computer literacy general skills plus MS Office and EPIC Beaker; knowledge of EPIC Hospital information Systems,
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential,

• Part Time
• Evening Shift
