CSP Tech, Full-Time, Evening, Somerville, NJ

Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified full-time, evening CSP Tech in Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum of 1-year hospital experience required

Preferred:

• 1 - 2 years of Central Sterile experience preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current National Sterile Processing Certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Evening Shift, 40 hours/week
• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Assists the Operation Room, Labor and Delivery Nursing Units, Emergency Room, Clinics and various other departments by processing and maintaining supplies and equipment, both sterile and unsterile, required for the care, diagnosis and treatment of patients

• Demonstrates a clear understanding of Central Service theory in such areas as, cleaning, isolation and the ability to adapt the knowledge to Sterile Processing,

• Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments like damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles and unsecured areas, etc,
