Dietician Registered

Job Overview:

Provides individual and group nutritional counseling services to JCMC s Food Farmacy clients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics Required
• Knowledge of food access challenges in the community and federal food assistance programs including SNAP, WIC, SFMNP and CACFP
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred:

• Masters Degree in Nutrition Preferred
• Bilingual- English/ Spanish Preferred
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Knowledge of Community Resources preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist accredited through CDR

Scheduling Requirements:

• 9 am to 5 pm (2 days a week ) Tuesday , Wednesday or Thursday
• 9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
• 20 hours / week
• Part Time

Essential Functions:

• Organizing and teach adult nutrition education programs at JCMC FOOD FARMACY
• Building a class roster and strong rapport with participating families/ patients to help expand programming
• Developing healthy recipes and nutrition education activities and handouts for children and parents
• Coordinate programming and analysis with JCMC Food Farmacy team multi-disciplinary team
• Records and analyzes data points related to behavior change, food frequency assessments, pantry utilization statistics and more
• Manages program expenses in accordance with grant funding
• Engages grant funders and other community stakeholders and helps procure and leverage key partnerships that broaden community impact,
• Work closely with Food Farmacy Team

Pay Range:

$35.00 minimum to $37.00 maximum Hourly Rate
