Position Summary:

  • Provides financial system support to the corporate accounting team and its stakeholders.
  • Creates and communicates business requirements and manages change from the business side.
  • Identify and implement areas for process improvement through utilization of available technology.
  • Responsible for validating and performing user testing of system changes including test scenario development.
  • Acts as a liaison between Corporate Finance and IT teams to oversee projects and ensure stakeholder deliverables are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supports areas of PeopleSoft system design, implementation and functionality.
  • Understands the functionality of individual modules in addition to the interconnection of modules.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in the General Ledger related to Accounts Payable, Inventory, Payroll and other interfaces.
  • Supports peers and business partners in designing and setting up maintainable system functionality.
  • Works well with peers, business partners and IT.
  • Drives IT projects for Corporate Finance team to ensure that deliverables are met timely.
  • Identify and implement areas for process improvement through utilization of available technology.
  • Expertise in query and report building to enhance end user analytics and experience.
  • Optimize General Ledger Chart Fields and reporting trees to facilitate internal and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist with training of PeopleSoft modules for new employees.
  • Review and maintain PeopleSoft ChartField requests and ensure communication of changes to those impacted.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
    • Education in Finance or Accounting preferred, Bachelor's in Business preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience.
    • Experience in General Ledger, Lease Management, Asset Management and other applications is preferred.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies.
  • General experience understanding fiscal policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft, nVision, Query.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills.
  • Must have excellent reporting skills in various products like Excel.
  • Proven technical skills are a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities on an ongoing basis while maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced to expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
