HIV Counselor/Phlb/Health/Educ

Job Overview:

• Responsible for conducting HIV counseling, testing and referral services with specified target population.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associates degree required
• Must be willing to work flexible hours
• Must be willing to travel into community

Preferred:

• Bachelor s degree is preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Must uphold NJ HIV Counseling and testing number

Scheduling Requirements:

• 8:00 am 4:00 pm
• Monday to Friday
• Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Will implement risk reduction counseling by utilizing EBI interventions (if required by grantee)
• Will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and managing data collection
• Responsible for supporting and maintaining confidentiality of clients and to link clients with appropriate medical and social services in the community

Pay Range:

$22.66 minimum to $27.09 maximum Hourly Rate
