Infusion RN, Part- Time, Home Care

Job Overview:

The Infusion RN provides direct care to clients in their homes. This position is part-time 22.5 hours per week. Option available for a 2-day 12-hour shift or 3-day 7.5-hour shift.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Previous home infusion experience is required.

Preferred:

• PICC Certification and Chemotherapy certification preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current licensure by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse
• Completion of an IV certification course required

Scheduling Requirements:

• Options are available for a 2-day, 12-hour shift or a 3-day, 7.5-hour shift.

Essential Functions:

• Instructs and supervises the client and/or significant others in the safe administration of the appropriate therapy.
• Instructs in the safe storage and disposal of supplies, potential side effects, etc., and supervision as well as evaluation during the course of therapy.
• Starts, restarts, and maintains IV access devices, as required.
• Remains familiar with the operation and maintenance of all pumps, supplies and access devices.
