RWJBH is seeking a Supply Chain OR Technician for our Distribution Department at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time, day position.

Supply Chain OR Technician is responsible for managing supply chain activities for Perioperative Services within the facility at the direction of the Supply Chain Leadership Performs procurement activities for OR services in a cost-effective manner using current inventory management processes and procedures Communicates product concerns to SC leadership and seeks input or approval from the Clinical Resource Directors CRD for all newly requested items prior to placing an order SC OR Technicians are expected to be in their assigned facility no later than scheduled start time unless prior arrangements have been made with SC leadership OR Technicians should be in proper OR attire, scrubs, before the start of scheduled shift All SC OR Technicians with a company issued phone are expected to respond to company related urgent or emergent concerns in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
2 or more years of experience with computerized inventory control systems and knowledge of medical/ supplies are required. Experience with Materials Management Information Systems and knowledge of medical/surgical supplies required. Strong quantitative, oral/written communication skills are required.
