Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) TRMC (FT)

JOB SUMMARY

The position is for an LPN who will be trained as a wound care nurse as well as hyperbaric technician who utilizes the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes,

This individual will work in both areas of the wound center daily

In addition to these duties, wound care nurses often serve as advocates, wellness educators, and cheerleaders for their patients, especially for those who frequently require relatively painful procedures or surgeries,

This specialty requires a combination of patience, empathy and ambition in order to stay up to date on best practices,

Educational Skills Required (Degree(s), Certification(s), License, etc.)

• Licensed in New Jersey as Practical Nurse having graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing.

Work Experience Required

• • Must have good inter personal and communication skills. Must have certification in cardio pulmonary certification; Prefer at least one year of experience in long-term care nursing, but not required.
