MMC-SC, located in Lakewood is looking for an experienced LPN to join our Great Emergency Department Team!
The Licensed Practical Nurse is licensed by the state and prepared to provide basic, direct patient care. Assumes responsibility for care of assigned patients and functions as a member of the health care team, taking direction and guidance from Registered Nurses. All care is provided in compliance with and according to Nursing Department policy/procedure, standards of care and the Licensed Practical Nurse Practice Act. Participates in unit Quality Improvement activities. These responsibilities are performed as they apply to adult and geriatric Emergency Department patients.
Requirements:
High School Diploma Required
Graduate of accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
Valid New Jersey LPN License
BLS Healthcare License Current
Phlebotomy certification
Good oral and written communication skills
Must complete RN degree within 24 month of employment
