MRI Technologist (Per Diem Day), Lakewood, NJ

Job Requirements:

The MRI Technologist, under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs all required diagnostic MRI scanning procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high quality examinations.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology
• NJ State licensure
• ARRT certifications

Preferred:

• MRI certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Per Diem
• Hours vary based on the needs of the department

Essential Functions:

• Perform all required diagnostic MRI scanning procedures through proper positioning and technique, consistently demonstrating good judgment in evaluating the diagnostic studies
• Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
• Monitor condition of any patient within the department and assist radiologist
• Comply with company operational and safety policies and procedures
• Performs all other duties as assigned
