Job Overview:

The RWJBarnabas Health New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) Residency program is a one-year program that provides New Graduate RNs with a safe, caring, supportive and robust learning environment for a new graduate nurse to gain clinical competency and achieve transition from student to professional practice.

Our Elizabeth, NJ hospital operates on two major campuses. Trinitas Regional Medical Center has 554 beds, including a 120-bed long-term care center, and Trinitas Regional Medical Center is proud to offer state-of-the-art medicine backed by compassion and competence. Our friendly, professional staff includes skilled physicians who are the foundation of the care we provide. Together, our medical team offers the community the most advanced technological care in every area of medicine and surgery.

Our cohort training is scheduled for June 3rd, 2024 and September 9th, 2024.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • Baccalaureate or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Required:

  • Current and active New Jersey RN licensure or compact license with New Jersey endorsement
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
  • Less than 6 months of RN experience
  • Commitment to orientation requirements
  • Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • The American Heart Association BLS Certification upon hire
  • Current and active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
