JOB SUMMARY
o This team-oriented unit provides a wide variety of Medical/Surgical and diagnostic services to a diverse population.
oThe nursing assistant is an integral part of the nursing team providing direct patient care activities under the direction of a registered nurse.
Educational Skills Required - Degree, Certification, License, etc,
o High School Diploma or Equivalency; Completion of a nursing fundamentals course in an accredited School of Nursing or Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred; CPR within six months of date of employment as a Nursing Assistant or prior experience as a nursing assistant; Ability to perform all competencies of the position is required for employment in the position.
