Job Overview:

The Patient Navigator (Non-Clinical) will meet patients bedside and make referrals to appropriate level treatment while helping remove barriers that may be in the way. This fast-paced environment is perfect for a quick-thinking individual that has mastered motivational interviewing.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience working with individuals struggling with substance misuse, preferably the adult population
  • Available to work evenings and weekend shifts in the medical emergency room

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of NJ treatment facilities for substance use and services in Union County

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift working, 11:00am-9:00pm
  • Monday-Thursday
  • Full-time (FT)
