Physical Therapist - Per Diem - Livingston, NJ

Job Overview:

Examines and evaluates patients upon referral from a physician, podiatrist, dentist, or nurse practitioner. Plans and implements specific treatment for patients to reverse impairments, restore function and facilitate development of skills essential for adaptive and productive living. Participates in PI and physical therapy clinical education programs. Provides care to all patients in accordance with patient s age and developmental status. Seeking per-diem licensed Physical Therapist for coverage at our facilities at Brandywine, JCC and ACC outpatient rehabilitation settings. Primary setting will be at Brandywine, which is an independent/assisted living facility where we see residents in our rehabilitation room.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor s degree, master s degree, or doctorate in physical therapy from an APTA accredited school of physical therapy.

Preferred:

• Experience preferred in working with outpatient population. Patient population includes both orthopedic and neurologically impaired patients.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Licensed in the State of New Jersey.
• BLS Certification Required. (American Heart Association)

Scheduling Requirements:

• Days
• PD
• Shift includes both evening and daytime hours Monday through Friday and daytime hours on Saturdays as needed.
