RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for psychiatric patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for the State of New Jersey and the policies and procedures of the Behavioral Health Center. All methods of practice shall conform to written hospital policies and procedures and be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence. The Registered Nurse will demonstrate concern and consideration in supporting the RWJBH philosophy of Total Quality Management in all dealings with both internal and external customers.
