Rehabilitation Technician (Per Diem Day), Lakewood, NJ

Job Overview:

The Rehabilitation Technician assists therapists with skilled intervention and provides clerical support in the daily operations of the department.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• NJ Driver's License
• BLS through American Heart Association
• Successful completion of all required orientation programs

Preferred:

• College courses preferable
• Previous PT experience

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Per Diem
• Schedule will vary based on the needs of the department

Essential Functions:

• Assists in hydrotherapy area and cleans tanks
• Assists in the daily operation of the gym
• Assists therapists with patient care within the confines of the NJ Practice Act
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care
• Maintains rehab inventory and orders via PeopleSoft as needed
• Maintains several temperature logs within the department daily
• Performs other duties as assigned!
