We are looking for an experienced RN to work as an RRT RN Per Diem.

Summary of Job Function: As a member of the Rapid Response Team (RRT), the RRT Nurse will focus on specific situations in non-critical care areas. These situations will have complex clinical issues and require immediate attention and clinical expertise. The RRT nurse will assist the staff member in assessing and stabilizing the patient s condition, as well as organizing information to be communicated to the patient s physician. The RRT nurse will be responsible for data and reports. The RRT nurses collectively will serve as educators over the medical surgical units as determined by director. Other responsibilities of the RRT nurse is to serve as a resource to staff, coordinate annual and ongoing competencies, assist with code SMART s code Stroke s, and code Blues when available

Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc

Job Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a minimum 2 years experience in Critical Care Nursing (ICU or ED). Demonstrated expertise in critical care nursing. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. Bachelor s Degree in Nursing and Critical Care Nurse Certification preferred. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
