Special Procedure Technologist (Full-Time Day) Long Branch, NJ

Job Overview:

The Special Procedure Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as required by physician orders. Provides patient services using sophisticated imaging techniques such as biplane and single plane fluoroscopy.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program
• NJ state licensure
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Full-Time
• 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions as required by physician orders
• Provides patient services using sophisticated imaging techniques such as biplane and single plane fluoroscopy
• Technologist is competent in the production of quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis by physician
• Reviewing and/or recording pertinent patient history and physiological data for interpretation by the radiologist / physician
• Performs a variety of angiographic, interventional and special procedure exams
• Assist Interventional Radiologist with examinations
• Processes billing and exam paperwork and maintains records and reports.
• Monitors and maintains equipment
• Performs other tasks and duties as required
