Job Overview:

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties an assisting the Screening Program Director and Assistant Clinical Director in the administration of a 24 hour operation. The Supervisor serves as the outreach liaison for all community agencies. Exercises supervisory authority and independent judgment in assigning employee labor. Responsible for supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate support personnel and for consistently setting and evaluating priorities. Insures that the unit is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's Degree or enrolled in a Master's Degree program in social work, psychology or related clinical field
  • Certified NJ Mental Health Screener or to be immediately eligible for Screening certification requirements
  • Valid NJ Driver's license
  • BLS through American Heart Association

Preferred:

  • Previous supervisory experience

Scheduling Requirements:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Full-Time
  • Evening Shift

Essential Functions:

  • Acts as liaison to community agencies, law enforcement and patient's families to effect outreach within the geographic area of Monmouth County
  • Participates in providing annual community-based education to Monmouth County agencies.
  • Participates in behavioral health education projects i.e. MMC Behavioral Health Conferences
  • Provides direct patient care on-site and off-site during high volume
  • Supervises and develops the implementation of treatment plans for patients based upon the team's assessment
  • Responsible for supervision of mobile practicum for designated Screening Centers.
  • Supervises the triage of in-coming clients to maintain a timely flow of patients from Emergency Department to PESS. Assigns cases to staff members as appropriate
