Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Therapist II in Somerville, NJ

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Masters degree from an accredited school of Social Work or Counseling degree from an accredited school, PhD from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills
  • Two years or more years job related clinical experience

Preferred:

  • Preferred qualifications include minimum of one year of clinical experience is a mental health setting,

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ State licensure, LCSW, LPC is preferred, LSW, LAC is acceptable depending on experience

Scheduling Requirements

  • Day Shift
  • Per Diem Schedule

Essential Functions:

  • Provide assessment, prevention/intervention, education, treatment and discharge services to adult psychiatric patients and their families,
  • The clinician will also actively participate in Department specific and hospital wide activities to ensure regulatory compliance enhance program development and quality improvement,
  • Additionally the clinician will engage in community outreach, professional associations and marketing activities,
