Job Summary
RWJBH is seeking a Per diem Advanced Practice Provider for the Surgical Sub Specialty department at the New Brunswick campus,
Essential Functions
- This is a consultative role that covers Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology
- This is a rotational position for days and nights
- Candidate should possess effective time management and have a desire to learn procedures
- While there is NO OPERATING ROOM, this is a heavy procedure service
- Must have manual dexterity to perform suturing and use scopes
- Understanding the techniques of primary and secondary closures of acute wounds is preferred but willing to teach
- The service is very busy and requires a person with high energy and great attitude,
Education
- Advanced Practice Nurses must be certified in Family due the pediatric population seen on this service
- Physician Assistants must be a graduate from an accredited PA program
Experience
- 1-3 years of Surgical ENT Plastics experience preferred
- Licenses and Certifications
- Current NJ APN PA license required
- NCCPA certification required
- CDS required
- DEA required
- RN required
- RNFA certification optional
- BLS required
- ACLS required
