Job Overview:

Facilitate treatment and provide coordination of referrals and intakes, direct practice in the areas of group work, consumer education, treatment planning and individual counseling. Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, obtaining program insurance authorizations, performing intakes, assessments, initiating treatment interventions and crisis intervention. Participates in staff training and continuing education.

Qualifications:

Required:

Master's degree in Social Work
Valid NJ LCSW license
Previous psychotherapy experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Full-Time
40 hours per week
Day shift, may require some evening hours as well

Essential Functions:

Conduct assessments, participate in treatment planning, discharge planning, and authorizations for care
Develop and maintain working relationships with referrals sources; facilitate clinical staff meetings, case consultations, and others reviews. . Assist with coordination for services to best meet client need
Participate in program development with OPBH leadership including QA and PI projects
Prepares and maintains statistical reports and records as required by regulatory, organizational and official agencies
Provide group and individual therapy
Provides Program oversite for clinical activities, ensures adequate coverage, and works in collaboration with OPBH leadership
Supervises social work students as assigned
