Qualifications:
Required:
- Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required
- Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
- IV sterile compounding and oncology experience, one year
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Registered Pharmacist with NJ board of Pharmacy
Scheduling Requirements:
- Per diem- Minimum 1 shift per month
- Mainly weekend day, but can cover Monday through Friday if available
- One major holiday per year
Essential Functions:
- The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of oncology and MS patient care
- They ensure that the patients receive appropriate treatment including chemotherapy and support medication managemen
- They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of outpatient and inpatient care of oncology and MS patients
- The pharmacist has good interpersonal skills and maintains a relationship within the interdisciplinary care team
- Proficient in EPIC, Beacon and navigation within the system
- They exercise considerable independent decision making
