The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Special Procedures/Cath Lab Technologist is proficient in the performance of a variety of complex specialized tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform but not limited to cardiovascular and special radiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or CVT program

EKG, BLS and ALS Certifications

Minimum 2 years Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring experience

Must live within 30 minutes of the hospitals to meet required response time for on-call shifts

Preferred:

• RCIS certification preferred
• National registry with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem
• 7am - 7:30pm, on-call required

Essential Functions:

• Duties include, but not limited to scrubbing, recording, and fluoroscopy operation, Problem solving, critical thinking, decisive judgment, collaboration, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment are necessary skills to ensure success
