The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Performs optimal quality echocardiographic studies on adult patients with known and/ or suspected cardiac anomalies,

These studies include the following modalities: M-mode, 2-Dimensional Echocardiography, Color Doppler and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), Technician must be versatile in ability to perform cross-training in additional cardiology procedures such as EKG’s.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Completion and certification from an AMA approved program in Cardiovascular technology, which includes echocardiography
• Must be registered by ARDMS or CCI or eligible

Scheduling Requirements

• Part Time
• 20 hours per week
• Day Shift

Essential Functions:

• To perform optimal quality echocardiographic studies on adult patients with known or suspected cardiac anomalies
• Responsible for non-clinical departmental duties
• Works well with ancillary departments (cardiac cath lab, ED, surgery, nursing floors, etc,)
• Participates in professional development and contribution to a CQI atmosphere
