The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Instructor for the Develop Innovation & Research Department, at Monmouth Medical Center. This is a regional position- covering MMC (and Vogel Cancer Center) and MMCSC,

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS/BSN
  • Minimum of three years current experience in areas of specialization required
  • One-year experience with demonstrated leadership/management required
  • Minimum of three years current experience in Oncology,

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • BLS  and ACLS through AHA
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Preferred:

  • ED degree in Nursing or related health field preferred
  • MA/MSN.  If Masters is non-nursing, BSN required
  • Minimum of one-year education, teaching, preceptor or other experience
  • Chemotherapy, Gamma Knife and CART-T Therapy experience preferred,
  • Current National certification in specialty preferred,

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full Time Day

Essential Functions:

  • Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments – i.e., damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas - and medical errors, etc.,
  • Regional oncology nursing professional development practitioner is responsible for competency assessments, skills, labs, and orientation for staff within assigned departments at Monmouth Medical Center, Vogel Cancer Center and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus,
  • Develops and conducts educational programs based on skills, knowledge base and educational needs of clinical staff,
  • Enhances professional growth and development through continuing education,
  • Participates in the performance improvement process,
  • Provides clinical support to staff on units,
