The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Assumes responsibility for all inventory functions including, but not limited to: physical inventory counts, excess inventory review, drug/supply ordering, CPR+ inventory, Infusion Pump inventory, and any other inventory related functions. Will be responsible for some warehouse-related functions.
Qualifications:
Required:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
Preferred:
- Inventory & warehouse experience preferred
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time, Hourly position– 37.5 hours a week
- On-site in South Plainfield
- Shift: 10 AM to 6 PM
Essential Functions:
- Work Environment and Hazards: Some exposure to communicable diseases from contact with patients, medical waste and equipment, some warehouse exposure.
- Must meet requirements of the ADA.
- Must be able to lift packages delivered from vendors.
- Understands and adheres to the company policy and requirements.
- Arrives to work on time.
- Hands in all projects/reports/evaluations/ completes net-learning, within the required time frame given.
- Willingness and flexible to work alternating work schedules on short notice.
- Will support management and do what is asked.
- Helps warehouse techs as back-up.
- Participates in Committee meetings and completes all reporting necessary.
- Responsible for maintaining correct and updated infusion pump inventory control.
- Calls patients in a timely manner for final pick-ups as a back-up.
- Responsible to run the physical inventory counts for IV, TPN, PO once yearly.
- Responsible to update all pricing in Caretend and keep it current at all times.
- Responsible to review usage reports and streamline current inventories on the shelf.
- Responsible for ordering any supply / drug needed on a daily basis.
- Reviews inventory par levels and determines what needs to be ordered every week, as needed.
- Responsible for reviewing inventory stock for outdated medication on a monthly basis.
- Works with Inmar to return all expired drugs.
- Places all office supply orders with Staples.
- Processes all Cardinal invoices, verifies Tableau, and calls with any discrepancies.
- Handles all Stericycle pick ups, monthly reporting, and yearly RMW reporting.
- Responsible to add/activate/inactivate drugs & supply items into Caretend.
