Job Overview:
Assumes responsibility for all patient pickups and deliveries. Will also cross train in warehouse duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school Diploma.
- Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license.
- Must possess a general knowledge of the New Jersey roadways.
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
- Must meet requirements of the ADA.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time, Hourly position– 37.5 hours a week
- Shift is 12 PM to 8 PM Monday – Friday
- Starting location is 603 Montrose Ave, South Plainfield, NJ
- Occasional Saturday coverage may be requested
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to access vehicles freely and be able to traverse all type of dwellings without the use of elevators.
- Understands and adheres to company policies and requirements.
- Arrives to work on time.
- Understands correct functioning of Virtue Track.
- Cleans up warehouse when done in evenings.
- Helps out in warehouse while waiting for deliveries.
- Willingness and flexible to work alternating work schedules on short notice.
- Will support management and do what is asked.
- Operates vehicles in a safe and lawful manner.
- Checks e-mails on a daily basis and responds to all emails.
- Responsible for calling patients and giving them a reasonable expected time of delivery.
- Assumes responsibility for transporting owned vehicles to mechanic or dealer for regular service appointments.
- Assumes responsibility for mandatory cleanliness of vehicle's interior as well as taking vehicles in for a car washing, at all times.
- Maintains required stock in vehicle.
- Wears proper PPE as needed.
- Responsible for calling office / calling on-call RP with any unusual occurrence during the day / night.
- Responsible for entering correct driver-related data in pharmacy system.
- Hands in all projects/reports/evaluations/ completes net-learning, within the required time frame given.
- Required to respond to all cell phone calls within 2 minutes of the call.
- Responsible for disposing of any hazardous waste picked up from patients in the appropriate biobins, closing them, & weighing them.
- Courteous to patients, family, & co-workers.
- Follows proper procedure for C, O, D, deliveries, completing all forms.
- Arrives to scheduled meetings on time.
- Responsible for making deliveries on time.
- Understands correct functioning of security device.
