The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Distribution Technician is responsible for:

  • Delivering all clean linen exchange for the soiled linen carts to Nursing Units.
  • The maintenance of the Clean Linen Room and soiled Linen Room.
  • Maintaining linen and scrubs inventory in the OR, and other ancillary areas.
  • Stocking shelves, PYXIS machines and assisting Coordinator.
  • Preparing shipments and bills for truck and rail carriers.
  • Preparing records of receipt of incoming material and equipment.
  • The accuracy of shipping documents and verifying receiving receipts with orders
  • The delivery of product to the various departments within the facility and off-site locations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Preferred:

  • Basic computer skills. 
  • Customer service experience required. 
  • Previous warehouse experience a plus.
