Job Overview:

We are seeking a Part Time Social Worker MSW for the Mental Health-Child OP Department at our Long Branch location. The Child and Adolescent Outpatient Behavioral Health program provides evidenced-based and patient-centered mental health treatment serving individuals ages 5 to 17 and their families.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field.
  • LSW or LAC license required
  • 2 to 4 years of experience working with children or families in a clinical setting required.

Preferred:

  • LCSW or LPC license preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Part Time (20 Hours)
  • Flexible schedule options Monday through Friday
  • Flexibility traveling between Long Branch and Neptune locations.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide direct clinical practice in the areas of psychotherapy (individual, family and group), treatment planning, consumer education, advocacy, and coordination of care.
  • Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, facilitate intakes, complete biopsychosocial assessments, co-construct treatment planning, initiate treatment interventions and provide crisis intervention.
  • Perform clinical case management and complete outreaches in the community when appropriate.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with the requirements set by the NJ Division of Mental Health Services, Department of Health and The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, continuing education and will take an active role in Performance Improvement Projects.
