Radiologic Technologist – RWJBarnabas Health
A typical day for a Radiologic Technologist may include:
- Performing diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Operating diagnostic, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Positioning patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensuring patient comfort while maintaining the highest standards of care.
- Following radiation safety protocols and maintaining compliance with hospital policies.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to support quality patient care.
- Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining imaging records.

To be considered for this Radiologic Technologist opportunity:
- Licensed by the State of New Jersey.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration preferred.
- RT certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 5 years of experience preferred.
- Successful completion of all orientation programs.
