Working closely with support services and leadership, you will coordinate critical safety infrastructure, manage campus emergency assets, and ensure full compliance across multiple facility environments to protect our staff, patients, and community during extraordinary internal or external events.
A Typical Day:

- Compliance Management: Reviewing, updating, and dynamically maintaining the hospital Safety Manual and emergency policies during the annual review cycle.
- Audit Dashboarding: Preparing Quarterly Performance Improvement Monitors, dashboards, and appraisals for active Joint Commission compliance and mock surveys.
- Drill Facilitation: Spearheading annual environment of care training initiatives, conducting mandatory fire drills, and documenting safety records.
- Communications Oversight: Maintaining the hospital's two-way radio systems, hardware procurement tracking, and necessary FCC licenses.
- Asset Readiness: Inspecting, testing, and tracking inventory levels for emergency management supplies and response equipment.
- Command Center Logistics: Assisting with the technical maintenance and activation of primary and alternate Hospital Command Centers / Emergency Operations Centers (HCC/EOC).
- Incident Response: Acting as an active member of the Incident Command team, executing rapid safety protocols, and responding to all Facility Alert events (includes potential telephonic tracking).
This Role Might Be For You If:
- You Are Safety-Centric: You are deeply passionate about maintaining public safety and building a highly resilient environment for healthcare delivery.
- You Excel Under Pressure: You possess proven resilience and maintain a structured, calm demeanor when responding to real-time hospital incidents and logistical emergencies.
- You Value High Standards: You set a high bar for detail-oriented compliance, multi-agency tracking, and precise, data-driven reporting.
- You are a Multi-Tasker: You thrive in positions that balance administrative tracking and Joint Commission metrics with hands-on physical equipment maintenance.
