Job Overview:
As a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (CCL RN), you will assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular, EP, Vascular and structural procedures. You will utilize knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared/educated/supported during procedures, whether monitoring, circulating, or assisting with scrub procedures. As a Cardiac Cath. Lab Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for TEE, CV, tilt table tests, ILR procedures, as well as pre- and post-care of patients, including admissions, discharges and transfers.

As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
- Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
- Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
- Providing clear, compassionate education for patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
- Contributing your voice during interdisciplinary rounds, helping drive seamless communication and smooth transitions of care

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification along with ACLS certification upon hire. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred with a minimum of 2 years critical care experience, Cath lab experience preferred, and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Must be IV certified from an approved facility or completion of requirements for IV certification within 90 days of hire. This position is a full-time, 12.5-hour shift (7A-8P), 37.5 hours per week, and on-call is required.
