Job Title: Lead Paraprofessional Technician

Our Lead Paraprofessional Technicians work collaboratively to promote optimal development and prevent long-term behavioral challenges in pediatric patients diagnosed with developmental disabilities, feeding disorders, or complex behavioral needs. By providing comprehensive applied behavior analytic (ABA) services, clinical data collection, and hands-on program support, our specialists proactively engage our most vulnerable patients to provide connection, structure, and therapeutic care. As a Lead Paraprofessional Technician within our behavior analysis program system, a typical day might include the following:

• Conducting dedicated clinical therapy sessions with patients using standard procedures under the direct guidance of a professional behavior analyst or licensed psychologist.
• Assisting professional behavior analysts in the seamless implementation of client intake, behavioral assessment, treatment, and discharge procedures.
• Processing, entering, and organizing assessment and treatment data into spreadsheets to accurately graph and report patient milestone progression.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to assist with the development of critical skill-acquisition programs and behavior-reduction interventions.
• Reporting daily client behaviors, tracking environment variables in measurable terms, and preparing initial drafts of session descriptions, materials, and progress notes.
• Assisting with staff training and the coaching of caregivers, parents, and school personnel to ensure long-term treatment continuity across settings.
• Performing initial analysis of clinical findings to provide helpful procedure recommendations and suggestions to clinical leadership.
• Supporting clinical research activities and maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and compliance of department materials and equipment.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. (Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in psychology, child development, or a related behavioral science field is a strong plus!)
• Experience: Proven foundational experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges within an educational, instructional, or therapeutic setting is preferred.
• Certifications: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required (or must be obtained within the designated onboarding period).
• Core Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with electronic data-collection systems, basic statistical spreadsheets, and building collaborative relationships across diverse population demographics.
