As a Maintenance Mechanic - Painter, a typical day might include the following:

• Performing scheduled preparation to clean, scrape, sand and repair walls including ceilings and exteriors
• Conducting preventative maintenance activities to ensure building systems remain safe and operational.
• Setting up and using ladders, scaffolding, lifts and maintaining tools and spray equipment
• Discussing project needs, color choices, and deadlien expecations
• Supporting life safety initiatives, including fire boundary inspections and preventative maintenance of firefighting equipment.
• Utilizing work request systems to document tasks, maintain records, and track completed work.
• Calculating material quantities and time needed for jobs
• Contributing to a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and team members.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and a minimum of five years of applicable experience in hospital or industrial maintenance or construction. A valid New Jersey Driver License is required. This a Full-Time position, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
